Marianne Lekcharoen-Ferrer has years of experience as academician. She started her career as a teacher then a school principal at one of the prestigious all girls exclusive school, became a university professor at the oldest and one of the top universities in the Philippines before she immigrated to Canada. She is also an author of several books and a well loved speaker. Currently, she is the Program Lead at one of the after school care in Edmonton. She is also a part-time academic on-line specialist at Studiosity, Australia.

She has finished her Grade School and High School Years at St. Theresa’s College, Q.C. She finished her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Santo Tomas in 1995. Last November, 2010, she was given the Fr. Angel de Blas Award. And last March 1, 2017, she was awarded as one of the Top Instructors during the Araw Parangal ng Agham in the University of Santo Tomas. She finished Magna Cum Laude at De La Salle Araneta University with a Degree in Masters in Education Major in Psychology. She was also a PAASCU Elementary Level Commissioner and was awarded the Fr. James Meany Award for several re-survey visits.

Despite the numerous titles and awards, Ms. Marianne, or better known as Ianne, would rather be known as a teacher, a friend and a wonderful aunt and a loving wife to her spouse. She believes in the philosophy that in life what matters most is not the fame, the fortune, the title and the prestige. It is how you touched lives and how you loved.
